My Background

I earned my Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Oklahoma State University and my Bachelor’s degree in Health & Human Performance & Psychology from Northeastern State University.

In addition to my clinical training, I have a background in strength training and performance coaching, which enhances my holistic approach to health, wellness, and personal growth.

With more than 37 years of experience in the behavioral health field, I have served as an administrator, clinician, consultant, and expert witness.  Throughout my career, I have worked across a broad continuum of care,  and

my professional experience spans Oklahoma, Arizona, and New Mexico, providing me with a diverse perspective on behavioral healthcare systems and clinical practice.

I am currently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oklahoma and Arizona and serve as a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor for clinicians pursuing independent professional licensure.

Outside of my professional life, you'll often find me competing in softball with the nationally ranked AAA New Mexico Get Dirty softball team or enjoying the outdoors through cycling, rowing, hiking, and kayaking with family and friends.
